So, here's what I had Rooster do for me:
Tony Davis cooked this design up, and I thought this rocking quill was a perfect fit for a demented writer like myself. Rooster nailed it--I positively love the shading, and I have to believe that of all my tats, this one is probably the best example of the tattoo as art. It looks fantastic.
We also did this one. I wonder which of my friends will be the first to recognize it. It's perfect for me in a lot of ways. And don't look now, but there's color! We brought red into play as well. This shouldn't shock any of my peers as my love for artwork boasting black, red, and white is common knowledge. Check out the cover for my book, which Chris Visions positively crushed. The color scheme was probably the most important piece of direction I provided during that process. Anyway, think of this one as an appetizer, because I couldn't get inked without bringing another dragon into the flock, and the biggest piece I got this week was far more colorful.
Once again, Rooster did a fine job, and I think this guy is a nice companion for the dragon I got two weeks ago.
So, I think I've already gotten my fair share of ink in 2013, but I don't think it will be long before I'm dialing up the good people at Queen Anne's Revenge again. If you're feeling the need, I suggest you do likewise.
